Ruth Claxton

Ruth Claxton works with a variety of media, in particular reconfiguring or altering pre-existing objects in order to create objects and installations which begin to question what it is to look, see or experience.

In July 2007 she completed a production residency at Spike Island in Bristol where she began developing work for a solo show at IKON gallery (Birmingham) in 2008, which will then tour nationally. She is represented by Arquebuse in Geneva.
